Our learning environments are structured to create community, to develop God-given abilities, to build character, and enrich creativity in each child. We will see this through careful attention given to each child, allowing children to explore and learn along with direct instruction, modeling desired behavior, positive reinforcement, and developmental growth. In addition to our foundation of faith, beginning with toddlers, this will include a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)-based learning. We will follow best practices for early learning.
There are daily opportunities to explore different areas through hands-on learning centers, discovery, play with a purpose, and play as you go, throughout the day for toddlers and preschoolers. Infants will receive continuity of care through their caregivers and individually coached in their personal development.
Specific instruction, practice, and performance in the arts for our preschoolers.
Preschool dance instruction. Children three and four years old will receive weekly dance instruction from a technique-trained and experienced dance instructor, along with built-in practice throughout the week with their leaders.
Preschool group piano lessons. Children four years old will receive weekly group piano lessons through the Diaz School of Piano (DSoP). This will include ongoing updates as well as performances for their parents. Three year olds will begin by being introduced to piano music, moving to piano music and learning the hand motions and fine motor skills – the ability to control finger movements – in these early stages of development at this age, in preparation for learning to play the piano.

Great question! We know you as parents want to be involved in your child’s development. In order to keep you connected, we will send daily updates (including photos/videos) of your child’s activities throughout the day.

Our desire is to partner with families in many ways, one of which is a Co-op. Families can provide a volunteer related to the child (parent, grandparent, aunt, etc.) and receive a 10% discount on one child’s tuition.
How the Co-op and discount work:
To receive the 10% discount, a parent-provided volunteer serves a minimum of 12 hours / month at approved times by the Program Director, for a general average of 3 hours a week.
Volunteers who would like to, at the director’s discretion, may serve more than this; it does not increase the parent discount.
A parent may provide up to 2 volunteers as there is availability and as approved (total 20% discount for one child).
All volunteers must go through and meet the state guidelines for background checks.
The parent-provided discount is taken after service each month; the first month of tuition for all families providing a volunteer is full price.
A specific number of serving spots are available; first signed up get first choice; others will go on a wait list.
-
Yes! In accordance with State guidelines, all volunteers and employees will go through an in-depth background check process.

The TED center is committed to providing a fair wage for all employees, exceeding the state and national average for ECE employees. With the addition of volunteers, both parent-provided and Trinity volunteers, we want an environment of peace and caring support for all children and all staff, and we think this happens in many ways, including exceeding the state standards for child-worker ratio. We also seek to see our employees continue to grow and learn in their areas of specialty and will work to support that life-long learning for them.
